Egyptian national Dr. Mona L. Zaki, is the Founder and CEO of Global Strategic Consultants (GSC), an international strategic consultancy firm for business development for local and international strategic projects and development, research, integrated marketing communication and human resources development. GSC's international efforts include the promotion of Egyptian products and projects abroad both in the Middle East and Europe .
Dr. Zaki established GSC in October 2003, following a richly versatile and accomplished career spanning two decades in strategic planning and development, institutional advancement, international cultural programs, international public relations and marketing for the American University in Cairo (AUC). In addition to spearheading GSC, Dr. Zaki, who received her doctorate in Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands in 2004, is Adjunct Assistant Professor of Marketing, Strategic Planning and Public Relations at the Business School of AUC. In her professorial capacity, Dr. Zaki is always innovative and proactive in her interaction with the student body. In March 2006, she was the first person university-wide to initiate and organize an expedition for students to the Toshka Project, the colossal project that began in Upper Egypt in the late 1990s.

Widely respected throughout the region as an international expert in strategic thinking and international marketing, Dr. Zaki is considered to be one of Egypt 's most successful businesswomen. As the business consultant for The Financial Times since 1989, Dr. Zaki continues to be instrumental in promoting Egypt as one of the top emerging markets for international investments. In addition, she continues to provide business and communication consultancy services to multinational companies, international private sector investment firms as well as government officials.
Dr. Zaki is actively involved in Civil Society in Egypt . She is the Head of the International Cooperation Committee of the Egyptian European Council, and board member of The Egyptian Austrian Friendship Association. Dr. Zaki plays a vital role in strengthening relations between Egyptian institutions, corporations and organizations and their European counterparts. In recognition of her efforts, the Government of Austria decorated Dr. Zaki with the " Grand Decoration of Honor from the Republic of Austria " in May 2004. Dr. Zaki is currently a partner in Kremezzat Co. based in Vienna , producing wellness drinks “Pharaoh's” and organic energy drink “MY E” . In 2005, Dr. Zaki was selected by the European Commission to devise a strategic plan for the Awareness Campaign of the Government of Yemen for its 2005 bid to join the World Trade Organization (WTO).
As the great granddaughter of prominent Egyptian Coptologist and author the Arabic-Coptic dictionary, Ekladios Bek Labib, Dr. Zaki played an instrumental role in fundraising two million dollars to establish the Coptic Chair at AUC in 2000/2001. She is a member of the Friends of the Coptic Museum Association.
Dr. Zaki has regularly appeared on Pan Arab and international television to offer her views on political, economic and social issues to a global audience. She is also a promoter of Arab-West dialogue, realized through her participation in an array of conferences and summits. Dr. Zaki was also chosen to as the main speaker in the Global Summit for Women in 2006, also known as Davos for Women.
In October 2008, Dr. Zaki was exclusively selected to jury of Stars of Science Context , an initiative of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development , which has an overarching mission to promote human development in Qatar and the Middle East region. Dr. Zaki has risen as a key player in the world of business and communication. Her extensive expertise in the aforementioned fields is vital to the shaping of the program and in the design and promotion of the candidate's inventions. ‘Stars of Science', a new Pan Arab TV contest to showcase young Arab innovators shedding light on the most innovative students science and technology projects will be broadcast across Middle East and North Africa. The final selection took place in Doha in June 2009. The program was broadcasted on CNN, El Gezira International and most Arab satellite channels worldwide.

Mrs. Isis Zaki

Mrs Zaki has been the director of Public Relations and Social Affairs of Egypt for the Embassy of France in Cairo for the past 28 years, and has worked with the administration of 10 ambassadors. Mrs Zaki's expertise in Egyptology and Coptology enabled her to impart her knowledge beyond the political arena to visiting French government officials, dignitaries, authors and artists.
Mrs. Zaki has been recognized in several books, including those of Marguerite Yourcenar. She has been decorated with the Chevalier de L'Ordre National du Merite of France for her leading role in promoting broader understanding and relationships between Egypt and France . |

Mrs. Zaki is a Coptologist, and is the granddaughter of Ekladios Bek Labib, the prominent Coptologist who authored the Arabic/Coptic dictionary. Mrs. Zaki is a Board Member of the Friends of the Coptic Museum Association, a member of the Egyptian French Friendship Society and the International Public Relations Association. |

Dr. Warith has more than thirty years of International Professional Experience Overseas and working with multi-cultural clients, contractors and colleagues in Canada, Carbines, South America, India and the Middle East. The Professional Experience of Dr. Warith includes also working in Egypt and the Middle East Region. He worked as Project Manager and Solid Waste Management Expert for the following projects executed in Egypt. On Year 2007 as Project Manager and Solid Waste Management Expert for the Design of Aswan, Edfo, and Somasta Landfills. Also, he worked on the design of Borg El Arab Landfill in Alexandria and on the design of Medical Waste Facilities on year 2004. Additionally, on year 2004 Dr. Warith participated on the design of the Landfill Project of Kattamia-I- in Cairo. On year 2003 Dr. Warith participated on the design of a project in Cairo, Egypt, and which was the Green Energy Complex from Existing Landfill. Furthermore, Dr. Warith participated on the design of the Bioreactor landfill in Sadat City on year 2000 in Menoufeya Governorate, Egypt. Moreover, on year 2000 too, Dr. Warith participated on the design of the Bioreactor Landfill in Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt.

Ismail Fahmy

Mr. Ismail Fahmy brings to Global Strategic Consultants his substantial experience in advising public sector entities on economic and public sector reform, acquired during his time with BearingPoint, Inc, a Virginia based management and technology consulting firm. From 2005-2008, Fahmy worked in the Emerging Markets Group, focusing on development projects funded by the USAID, World Bank, IMF, and other international donor agencies. His area of expertise was economic and public sector reform in developing and post-conflict nations. As Senior Business Analyst, Mr. Fahmy was responsible for managing the finances and operations for multi-million dollar international development projects for a number of countries with emerging markets; completing a Revenue Management Project for the Department of Treasury of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico; and authoring the US Department of State final report on the Anti-Corruption Project in Ukraine, among other responsibilities.

During his time at the College of William and Mary, Virginia, where he obtained his bachelors in Government and Sociology in 2005, Fahmy gained invaluable experience working in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Morgan Stanley, London, as well as during his internships with the Office of Economic Development in Virginia, and the International Banking Division of the Bank of America in Washington,
Fahmy, who is fluent in Arabic and English, is currently engaged in Egypt working with Global Strategic Consultants in order to help develop clean energy technology projects to help the country combat the environmental threats it faces, in addition to providing viable options to meeting the rising energy demands. |

Mr. Zaki graduated from the Faculty of Arabic language, Al Azhar University, the leading Arabic faculty in the Arab world. With the privatization program of these companies moving to its final stages, Mr. Marei then moved to Orascom to establish the Marketing and Sales departments of the then rising resort of El Gouna. Mr Marei helped El Gouna become a house-hold name not only in Egypt , but in most major European tourism feeder markets as well.
Starting a career as an independent consultant, in the fall of 2004, Mr. Marei received an offer by the Ministry of Tourism to be part of a group of consultants who would help devise and implement Egypt 's international Tourism marketing campaign. Through both the campaign and the portal, he was instrumental in the excellent results that Egyptian Tourism has achieved recently in both the international markets and Arab markets.
